Abstract:

The postmodern novels "Divorced Diaries" by Haifa Bitar and "Vanhadeh" by Simon de Beauvoir are the first-person narrators of the daily lives of two divorced women as the protagonists of the mentioned novels. The importance of this research is because the neurotic character of both novels makes it possible to look at the hero of the two novels with a psychotic perspective and to investigate Jeffrey Young's initial inconsistent schemas in their characters with a comparative method. This research is based on descriptive-analytical method. This research aims to have a concrete view of the society of Syria and France and reveal the effective factors in the formation of these schemas in the hero of two novels and scrutinize them with the example of the witness. The research results indicate that the heroines of these two novels are both abandoned by their husbands and suffer from the same primary incompatible schemas. Both protagonists of the novel suffer from various primary maladaptive schemas of dependence/incompetence, defect/shame, and abandonment/instability (abandonment), which, in the order of their origin, depend on/incompetence in them. Relying on the father in doing all the daily tasks, even doing the homework, especially at the teenage age, which is the stage of reaching independence and self-sufficiency. In addition, there is a schema of defect/shame arising from their being rejected by their spouses and their divorce by them, as well as a schema of rejection/instability caused by their shaky relationships.

Abstract:

Introduction: Divorce as the legal end of a paired relationship is one of the most stressful events in life, and how to manage and adjust emotions is one of the determinants of mental health and quality of life. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of Cognitive-mindedness-based therapy on emotional schemas and Cognitive-emotional ordering strategies of divorced women. Methods: The present study was a semi-experimental design with pretest-posttest design with control group, conducted in 1396-1396. The statistical population of the study consisted of all divorced women in Tehran and the sample was from among women referring to the Judicial Complex of Branch 2 family and Shahid Sadr Judiciary Complex in Tehran. The sample consisted of 30 people in both experimental and control groups (15 people). That was done by purposeful sampling and randomly assigned to the experimental and control groups. After selecting the subjects and determining the two groups based on gender and age using the coin throwing method, one group was tested and the other Controlled as selected. The research data were collected using emotional schema and emotional adjustment tools whose validity and reliability were confirmed in several studies. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics (mean and standard deviations) and inferential statistics (multivariate covariance analysis) and analysis software Spss v. 22 data was analyzed. Results: The findings of this study showed that Cognitive-mindedness-based Cognitive therapy significantly affected the emotional schema variables (F = 133/998, P = 0/05) positive emotional adjustment parameters (F = 288/159, P = 0/001) And negative excitement setting (F = 1121/165, P = 0/001), and decreased negative emotional strategies and emotional strategies and increased emotional regulation of women in the experimental group. Conclusions: Awareness-based Cognitive therapy is a suitable method for regulation of emotional schemas and negative emotional Cognitive-behavioral strategies of divorced women. Therefore, with regard to the growth of divorce during the past few years, it is suggested that this intervention be used to reduce the psychological and behavioral consequences of divorce.

Abstract:

Cognitive pragmatic schemas are one of the topics in Cognitive linguistics, and applying this approach to the study of death in children's literature serves as a bridge between the fields of literature, Cognitive linguistics, and philosophy for children. A single word can have different meanings under various Cognitive pragmatic schemas. Cognitive pragmatic schemas are dependent on situational and functional contexts. This research aims to categorize the representations of suspended death based on Cognitive pragmatic schemas. In children's literature, death is often portrayed as a reversible phenomenon; therefore, this motif has been chosen as the research subject. The statistical sample of the current research is the stories for age groups "A," "B," and "C," works that featured the assumption of its reversibility in their content. Each of these stories is like an practs to call and form the scheme of death. The current research aims to answer how situational speech acts in children's stories modify the frightening representation of death in forming and invocating the schema of suspended death. This article introduces five situational speech acts for the schema of suspended death: resurrection with external stimulus, resurrection with internal stimulus, transformation with external catalyst, transformation with internal catalyst, and delusion. Since concepts like "death" are abstract, philosophical, and emotionally provocative in nature, the way these concepts are conveyed to children has always been a subject of debate. This research, employs a descriptive-analytical method, demonstrates that children's stories modify the frightening representation of "death" by using various Cognitive schemas of reversible death.

Abstract:

Objective: This study aimed to explore the structural relation of emotional schemas with psychological distress and evaluate the mediating role of resilience and Cognitive flexibility in this relationship. Method: Participants were 300 students that voluntarily completed a questionnaire package that included the Leahy Emotional Schema Scale (LESS-P), Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC), Cognitive Flexibility Inventory (CFI), and Depression Anxiety Stress Scale (DASS-21). Then, we utilized the LISREL software for structural equation modeling. Results: Structural equation modeling and path analysis revealed the direct effects of adaptive and maladaptive emotional schemas on psychological distress. The results indicated that maladaptive emotional schemas indirectly affected psychological distress via resilience and Cognitive flexibility (P < 0. 01). In contrast, adaptive emotional schemas indirectly affected psychological distress via Cognitive flexibility rather than resilience (P < 0. 05). Evaluation of the proposed structural model revealed an acceptable fit. Conclusion: The present research findings show the effect of emotional schemas on psychological distress via resilience and Cognitive flexibility. Furthermore, the results suggest that resilience partially mediates the relationship between emotional schemas and psychological distress. At the same time, Cognitive flexibility mediated this relationship.

Abstract:

Sluggish Cognitive Tempo is used to describe a particular type of attention deficit, concentration, and slowness in information processing. The aim of this study was to investigate the psychometric properties of the Sluggish Cognitive Tempo Scale (SCTS) of the parent form among Iranian children. The present study is a descriptive study. A sample of 1700 people was selected from the provinces of Tehran, East Azerbaijan, West Azerbaijan, Kurdistan, Fars and Khorasan using cluster sampling method. 122 subjects were excluded from statistical analysis due to incomplete answers to the questionnaires and thus the final sample was reduced to 1578 parents. The confirmatory factor analysis method and internal consistency were used to compute the Sluggish Cognitive Tempo Scale factorial validity and reliability, respectively. Also, in order to examine the construct validity of the Sluggish Cognitive Tempo Scale, we computed correlations between different dimensions of Sluggish Cognitive Tempo Scale with Attention Deficit Subscale of Mental Health Assessment Questionnaire for Children and Adolescents. The results of statistical results showed that this scale has structural validity, criterion and convergence in Iranian society. The results indicate that the scale is three factors and also the validity of the scale using Cronbach's alpha method and retest test after Approved two weeks. According to the findings of the present study, the parent form of the Sluggish Cognitive Tempo Scale (SCTS) has a good validity and reliability and it can be used in research related to slow Cognitive multiplication in Iranian society.

Abstract:

Objective: The aim of this study was to predict adolescents' Cognitive emotion regulation strategies based on the mothers' maladaptive early schemas and their parenting styles. Methods and MaterialsThisdescriptive correlational study involved a randomly selected cluster sample of 406 high school students (comprising 200 girls and 206 boys) from Tabriz. Data were collected using three scales: Young's Schema Questionnaire-Short Form (YSQ-SF), the short form of the Persian version of the Cognitive Emotion Regulation Questionnaire for adults (CERQ-P), and the Family as a Social Context Scale by Skinner. The collected data were analyzed using correlational statistics and structural equation modeling. Findings: The results confirmed the role of mothers' maladaptive early schemas and their parenting styles in the formation and application of their children's Cognitive emotion regulation strategies. Conclusion: The findings of this study indicated that when parents' schemas are adjusted, it leads to the selection of effective parenting methods, which in turn increases adolescents' use of positive Cognitive emotion regulation strategies.
